Reset Samsung SCX 4300 Laser printer

Samsung SCX 4300 is a good multifunction laser printer. The only downside is that its toner is pretty expensive and Samsung does some tricks to block refilling its toner. However, a brilliant guy has fixed it. To refill used toner is environment-friendly and cash-friendly. Before you are free to refill your toner free, you need to flash its firmware.

First, download this zip file and unzip in your computer.

Second:

1) Connect PC and printer with USB cable.
2) Turn on the power of printer.(Ready Status)
3)Then go in TECH MODE after pressing sequence: [menu][copy][left][right][menu][right]

This is a tricky one. you need to press buttons quickly and continuously.

4)get in menu "DATA SETUP", find there "FLASH UPGRADE"
6)After confirming in [LOCAL] drag the SCX4300_V1.13fix_Fact_romdl.hd file and Drop down on the usbprn2.exe. And then f/w update will be started automatically.
7)Please wait until end reboot.
8)when flashing ends get going into TECH MODE and DATA SETUP there perform CLEAR ALL CNT - that's all !
